Channel 20’s winning bid for Knesset channel nixed by High Court
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe High Court of Justice bars Channel 20 from winning a tender to operate the Knesset channel.
The court’s decision comes in response to a petition filed by Channel 2, which argued the decision to award the conservative TV station the tender was marred by “a series of failures.”
The Council for Cable TV and Satellite Broadcasting will revisit the decision at a later date.
