Cops bust gang that brought women from abroad for prostitution, arrest 3 suspects
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePolice say they uncovered an international network that trafficked women for prostitution, after a months-long undercover “investigation across continents.”
A Beersheba couple in their 30s and an Eilat man in his 40s were arrested yesterday on suspicion of involvement in the trafficking gang, and the Haifa Magistrate’s Court ordered them held in custody today, police say.
As part of the investigation, officers tracked women from abroad “who came to the country in order to engage in prostitution, with persuasion and guidance by the suspects,” police say.
