The test of the long-range Arrow missile defense system today was successful, the Defense Ministry says.

The ministry says the test was part of a multi-year program for “the development and upgrade of the system.”

“The successful test represents another significant milestone in Israel’s operational ability to defend itself from current and future threats,” the ministry adds.
