Egypt’s intelligence chief reportedly set to discuss Gaza with Ron Dermer in Cairo

Egypt’s intelligence chief General Hassan Mahmoud Rashad is set to soon meet an Israeli delegation headed by Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer in Cairo, the Egyptian state-affiliated Al Qahera News TV reports.

The meeting is part of Qatar-Egyptian efforts to restore a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, the channel says.
