Gantz at protest: Returning hostages, even at painful price, is the right decision

National Unity party chairman and former war cabinet minister Benny Gantz joins protesters calling for a hostage deal at the Sha’ar Hanegev Junction, not far from the Gaza border.
“Returning our hostages even at a painful and difficult price is the right strategic decision and it is the Jewish thing to do,” Gantz says in a statement on his WhatsApp channel.
This is not the first time that Gantz has attended a protest at the southern junction, having demonstrated there alongside fellow National Unity lawmaker MK Alon Schuster less than a week after resigning from the government last month.
