Gantz to meet Scholz, Steinmeier in Berlin

Benny Gantz, the chairman of the opposition National Unity party, will leave this evening on what his spokesman describes as a “high-level political visit in Berlin” where he is slated to meet with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
Over the course of Thursday, Gantz will meet with Scholz as well as President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Foreign Policy and Security Advisor Jens Plotner and Opposition Leader Friedrich Merz of the CDU party. He is set to return tomorrow evening.
