Hamas ally PFLP says Trump plan will prolong war, not end it

The world is still awaiting an official Hamas response to US President Donald Trump’s proposal to end the war in Gaza, but other Palestinians are weighing in.

Abu Ali Hassan, a senior member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, tells the Sand news agency that “Trump’s plan is a recipe for managing the war and prolonging it, not for its end.”

The PFLP is one of the smaller terror organizations in the Gaza Strip and during the war it has been cooperating with Hamas.

Hassan adds that it is “a desperate attempt to separate Gaza from the Palestinian territorial entity.”
