Hamas calls Likud vote for partial West Bank annexation ‘an escalation’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleHamas calls a resolution passed by the Likud Central Committee calling for annexing parts of the West Bank and allowing for unlimited settlement building “an escalation” prompted by US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem last month as Israel’s capital.
“The #Likud extremist party decision of #annexing #West Bank to occupation sovereignty is an escalation related to #Trump’s decision in the absence of Arab reaction,” the terror group says on its Twitter account.
