Hamas warns foreign airlines away from Israel
Hamas’s military wing claims it sent a message to foreign airlines that fly to Israel, telling them to “stop the flights in light of the dangers that engulf all the airports as a result of the war.”
Israel Radio reports that flights into Israel have been altered to avoid areas in which the Iron Dome batteries might fire. Giora Romm, head of the Civil Aviation Authority of Israel, says that flights come in from the north now.
Unfortunately, says Romm, residents of the neighborhoods over which airplanes are now flying have been calling to complain about the noise.
