IDF: 2 Israelis mistakenly crossed into Jordan, were detained and returned

Yesterday, two Israelis mistakenly crossed the border into Jordan and were detained by the Jordanian military, according to the IDF.
The IDF says the pair were released from custody and returned to Israel.
“The IDF emphasizes that crossing the border into Jordan other than through an authorized border crossing is prohibited and dangerous for Israelis, and constitutes a violation of the law,” the Israeli military adds.
