IDF confirms post-ceasefire announcement rocket attack on troops in south Lebanon

A rocket launched by Hezbollah struck near Israeli forces operating in southern Lebanon a short while ago, the military says.

The IDF says no injuries were caused in the attack, which triggered sirens in the border community of Metula.

Meanwhile, sirens warning of a suspected Hezbollah drone attack sound in the Western Galilee, which the IDF says is the result of a false alarm.

Lebanese media has also reported several Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon since Trump’s announcement, though there has been no comment from the military yet.
