Israeli warplanes hit a number of Hezbollah targets in Lebanon overnight, the Israel Defense Forces says.

Among the targets hit were several operational centers of the Iran-backed terror group, the IDF says.

The military also says that overnight it identified several projectiles fired from Lebanon into Israel and the IDF responded by shelling the source of the fire.

The IDF did not report any casualties.
