The Israel Defense Forces confirms a long-range rocket was fired from the Gaza Strip toward the Eilat area.
The IDF says the projectile landed in an open area, causing no injuries or damage.
No sirens sounded in towns, but an alert was activated in an open area on the Home Front Command mobile application “according to protocol,” the IDF says.
???? Al-Qassam Brigades launched an Ayash-250 rocket towards “Eilat” (where Raymond airport) in response to the Zionist massacres against innocent civilians.
This is possible the 3rd time al-Qassem used the Ayyash-250 rocket since the war, and the first for going south pic.twitter.com/WWDVfFVVZP
