The IDF says an Israeli Air Force drone identified an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) posing a threat to troops operating in southern Lebanon, before later killing a Hezbollah operative who arrived to retrieve it after it landed.

According to the military, the strike was carried out in a rapid operation after the operative approached the drone on the ground.

The military releases footage showing the identification of the UAV and the strike on the operative.
