IDF says it struck Hezbollah air defense infrastructure in northeastern Lebanon

The IDF says it targeted sites belonging to Hezbollah’s air defense unit in northeastern Lebanon’s Baalbek overnight.
The targets included a compound and three additional infrastructures relating to Hezbollah’s air defenses, the IDF says.
The IDF says the strikes come in response to the terror group shooting down a military drone over southern Lebanon yesterday with a surface-to-air missile. Hezbollah initially said it downed an Elbit Hermes 450, but later claimed it was a Hermes 900 model.
Additional Hezbollah sites were also hit last night in Ayta ash-Shab and Odaisseh, the military adds.
