An IDF soldier was killed in a Hezbollah drone attack in southern Lebanon last night, the military announces.
The slain soldier is named as Staff Sgt. Michael Tyukin, 21, of the Givati Brigade’s Reconnaissance Unit, from Ashkelon.
The attack took place at around 10:30 p.m. last night, during which a first-person view drone piloted by Hezbollah struck a position where Givati soldiers were operating.
The blast killed Tyukin and wounded four other soldiers lightly, who were taken to a hospital for treatment.
