Israel to end COVID quarantine requirement in 2 months — report

In two months, Israel will end the requirement of confirmed coronavirus cases having to isolate if infection rates continue to trend downwards, Channel 12 news reports.
The network cites senior officials at the Health Ministry, who say quarantine will be only recommended for those who test positive, and will not be enforced.
The report adds that the country will also lift an indoor mask mandate. Currently, face masks are not required outdoors and are only recommended at large outdoor gatherings, while they remain required to be worn indoors.
No official decision has been made yet, and the moves depend on the rate of infection, which appears to be slowing in recent days.
