Israeli death toll from multi-front Hamas attack rises to more than 250

The death toll from the Hamas terror group’s massive attack on Israel rises to more than 250, Hebrew-language media reports say, citing medical officials.
The toll is expected to continue to rise.
At least 1,450 have been wounded, many seriously.
Dozens of civilians as well as IDF soldiers are believed to have been abducted and brought into Gaza; the IDF has confirmed that soldiers and civilians have been taken hostage, but has not specified a number.
Thousands of rockets have been fired at the south and center of the country, killing a number of people.
