Israeli diplomats in Cairo for talks with Egyptians
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA delegation of senior Foreign Ministry officials landed in Cairo yesterday and is meeting with Egyptian counterparts today and tomorrow. A Palestinian media report claims the delegation is there to lay the groundwork for a trilateral summit of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.
Egyptian officials tell Army Radio that there’s no Egyptian peace initiative in the works, despite previous reports.
