Knesset to discuss security for Jerusalem schools

The Knesset Education Committee will take up the issue of Jerusalem’s unprotected schools in a meeting on Tuesday.

Jerusalem’s mayor and parents organization announced last week an open-ended partial strike protesting the lack of funds for keeping security guards posted at some 400 schools in the capital after 1:30 p.m. amid a growing wave of terror attacks.

The special meeting was called by the committee’s chairman, Shas MK Yaakov Margi.
