McCain: Send Kerry to Israel to calm passions
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleSenator John McCain urges President Barack Obama to send US Secretary of State John Kerry to Israel to quell tensions between Palestinians and Israelis in the wake of the four murders, Politico reports.
“In this case, I think our secretary of state, Secretary Kerry, could go to the region and try to maybe do a little shuttle diplomacy,” McCain says on CBS’s “Face the Nation.”
“This thing is in danger of spiraling out of control.”
