Nation more united than any time since 1967, says minister
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleEnergy and Water Minister Silvan Shalom, running an event in the Tel Aviv Port where stores and businesses from the south are displaying their wares, reports thousands have gathered and that they “all sang ‘Am Yisrael Chai’ when Iron Dome intercepted a rocket heading for Tel Aviv just now.”
“The mood of unity in the nation is something I’ve not seen since the Six Day War,” he says.
Shalom urges Israelis to come to the event — open till 10 pm and from 8-3 tomorrow — and “buy something” from these south Israel businesses. “Do something for these people.”
