Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says that Israel and the US “agree on the big things.”
He allows that there “are different approaches over certain points,” but says the two sides work out the differences.
Speaking in the Knesset, Netanyahu stresses that “Israel supports the determined decision by the [US] president, and the bold action by the US army in Venezuela.”
“There is a global struggle between countries that represent freedom and progress, and violent countries that threaten the world order,” says Netanyahu.
The prime minister argues that Israel leads the civilized world’s fight in the Middle East, and that the US and its government are deeply appreciative of this stance.
He tells the opposition that they totally misread the diplomatic reality throughout the war.
