Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he has directed the IDF to continue striking terror targets in Gaza.

“I just finished a situational assessment where I approved operational plans [for Gaza] with the defense minister, IDF chief of staff, the head of the National Security Council, the head of the Shin Bet, and the head of the Mossad.

“The directive is to continue to strike at terrorist targets. The IDF is doing well. Today, it eliminated another senior Islamic Jihad commander, hit a Hamas naval unit, and continues to strike at Hamas’s underground tunnel network along with other targets,” Netanyahu says in a statement.

“We will continue to act as necessary to restore peace and security to all residents of Israel,” he adds.
