Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will convene his security cabinet at 1:00 p.m. tomorrow, following a full cabinet session earlier in the day, an Israeli official tells The Times of Israel.
The meeting comes ahead of Netanyahu’s departure for Washington on Monday for talks with US President Donald Trump, as the administration weighs its next steps on Iran after pausing its nightly strikes over the weekend.
Trump reportedly seeks to give diplomacy more of a chance, though Israeli officials have said they remain prepared for the possibility of renewed escalation.
