Netanyahu to hold call with UK’s Sunak

Lazar Berman is The Times of Israel's diplomatic reporter

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his British counterpart Rishi Sunak are slated to talk by phone today at around 5 p.m. Israel time, diplomatic sources tell The Times of Israel.

Sunak will bring up the UK’s desire to see more humanitarian aid enter Gaza, including through Israel’s Kerem Shalom crossing if necessary.

He will also bring up the 3 confirmed British hostages being held by Hamas, and the 300 or so British citizens in Gaza that Hamas is preventing from leaving through the Rafah crossing with Egypt.
