New photos from rocket-hit Ashdod gas station

The Israeli badly injured in the direct hit at an Ashdod gas station early this morning is an elderly, handicapped man, who was apparently in his car when the rocket struck. A relative tells Army Radio he fills up at that gas station every week, and that when she warned him about the rocket threats, he told her not to fill his head with such concerns.

He is suffering from severe burns and an injury to his hand, according to Magen David Adom, Israel’s national emergency medical, disaster, ambulance and blood bank service.
