‘Orlando gunman scouted Disney World as potential target’
Federal officials tell People Magazine that Orlando gunman Omar Mateen scouted the Disney World amusement park on the outskirts of the city, as well as the Pulse nightclub at which he ultimately struck.
According to People, Mateenh’s wife Noor Zahi Salman told federal authorities yesterday that her husband had more recently been “scouting Downtown Disney [shopping area now known as Disney Springs] and Pulse for attacks.”
