Palestinian Authority: 2 died overnight after being shot by IDF in separate incidents

Two young men succumbed overnight to critical IDF gunshot wounds sustained in separate incidents in the southern West Bank on Tuesday and yesterday, according to the Palestinian Authority’s Health Ministry.

The IDF has not commented on either incident.

Muhammad Masalma, 25, died in Hebron’s Ahli Hospital after troops shot him last night amid clashes in the Palestinian town of Dura, south of Hebron, according to the ministry and Palestinian media.

A brief clip published by Palestinian outlets showed a person, identified by the outlets as Masalma, lying in the middle of the road as an IDF soldier appears to kick him.

Another clip from the same location showed a military vehicle standing next to the wounded man as soldiers stand and kneel over him, tossing aside what appears to be one of his shoes.

Separately, 19-year-old Tamer Kisiya died last night at Hebron’s Mezan Hospital from wounds sustained when troops opened fire on him and another teenager last Tuesday amid clashes in Dahariya, according to the PA ministry and Palestinian media.
