PM to hold full security cabinet meeting this evening amid Iran, Hezbollah fighting

Nava Freiberg is The Times of Israel's deputy diplomatic correspondent.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will convene the full security cabinet tonight at 9 p.m. amid intensified fighting with Iran and Hezbollah, the office of one of the cabinet ministers tells The Times of Israel.

Israeli officials have indicated that Israel has decided to halt its retaliatory attacks on Iran following pressure from the White House, but added that no final decision has been made.

There has been no formal comment from Netanyahu or his office on the escalated fighting since it began last night.
