Police and Waze join forces to fight traffic jams
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Public Security Ministry says it will collaborate with the popular Waze traffic navigation app to help reduce traffic jams in Israel.
This will include “a two-way flow of information” from traffic police to Waze and vice versa, the ministry says.
“Police have to be at the forefront of technological innovation and to use advanced systems like Waze,” says Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan.
Shared information will include traffic flows, incidents and planned changes to roads.
