Reports: Army fires tear gas at Palestinian students on their way to school

Palestinian media reports that soldiers fired tear gas at Palestinian students attempting to reach a school in Umm al-Kheir, in the South Hebron Hills in the West Bank.
According to the reports, settlers set up a roadblock in the area last night to prevent Palestinians from passing.

The IDF says in response to a query from The Times of Israel that forces used crowd dispersal measures following a gathering of several Palestinians in the area; no injuries were reported. It does not comment on the allegations troops had attacked students trying to reach their school.
