Security forces detain terror suspects, seize weapons in Jenin

Security forces continue a wide-scale counterterrorism operation in Jenin, arresting multiple terror suspects and seizing weapons, the IDF and police say.
According to a joint statement, undercover Border Police officers, acting under Shin Bet direction, arrested two Islamic Jihad operatives who had allegedly been involved in terror cells in the area.
Additional activity by the IDF’s Menashe Brigade, including troops from the Paratroopers Brigade’s reconnaissance unit and Border Police forces, led to the detention of several more suspects, along with interrogations and the seizure of weapons.
The operation in the northern West Bank city began overnight as part of ongoing efforts to thwart terrorist activity in the area, security forces say.
