Several killed in explosion in city outside Syria’s Damascus, state-run TV reports
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleSeveral people were killed or wounded in an explosion in a city on the outskirts of Syria’s capital Damascus, the state-run Ekhbariya TV reports.
A security source tells the channel that the blast in the city of Jaramana was caused by an explosive device planted on a vehicle, citing preliminary information.
The vehicle in question is reportedly a minibus.
An AFP photographer saw several ambulances heading to the scene of the explosion, where a main street had been closed to traffic.
