Singapore’s PM making historic trip to Israel
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleSingapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will arrive in Israel tomorrow for the first ever official visit by the Singaporean head of state. He will be accompanied by a 60-member delegation, including his foreign minister and water resources minister.
The trip includes a reception at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where the prime minister will receive an honorary doctorate.
The PM will also tour the Old City of Jerusalem, Yad Vashem and Jaffa, and meet with Netanyahu, Herzog, Rivlin and former president Shimon Peres. He will also travel to Ramallah, in the West Bank.
