State prosecutor: Recommendations bill ‘problematic and unnecessary’

State prosecutor Shai Nitzan slams the so-called recommendations law as “problematic and unnecessary.”

“This is a problematic and unnecessary law that will damage the work of the State Attorney’s Office,” Nitzan says at a media conference in Eilat.

“If I could understand what interest it served to the Israeli public, I would be content with it,” he says. “But unfortunately it’s really problematic and I thought it best to clearly state my position on it.”
