Study: UK aid used to support Palestinian terrorists

An independent British study finds that UK aid to the Palestinian Authority is “more likely” to boost terrorism, as the funding is being used to support civil servants convicted of carrying out terrorist acts.

According to the Telegraph newspaper, the Overseas Development Institute says that a £156.4 million ($221.7 million) grant from the UK to the PA encourages civil servants to take part in “active conflict,” as their families still receive a salary even if they are jailed for criminal activity, including terrorism.

Furthermore, the study finds, after completing their sentences, civil servants can return to positions “kept open [for] when they return from detention.”
