Turkish Jewish couple murdered in Istanbul home
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA well-known Turkish Jewish couple in Istanbul were found murdered in their home on Friday, the Turkish daily Hurriyet reported earlier.
The caretaker of the two victims — who were named as Jak Karako, 77, and Georgia Karako, 69 — is the prime suspect in the double stabbing of the couple.
Police have launched a manhunt for the caretaker.
The couple founded Ören Bayan, the most famous textile brand in Turkey
