Turkish official: Istanbul bombers were members of IS in Syria
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA senior Turkish government source tells CNN that there is “strong evidence” the bombers who killed 43 people in Tuesday’s Istanbul airport attacks came from the Islamic State’s Syrian stronghold of Raqqa.
The source also says that the leadership of the jihadist group was involved in the planning of the attack.
