Israel’s women’s lacrosse team wins bronze at the international lacrosse championship in Tokyo.
Israel beats the Haudenosaunee 7-4 to secure the third-place finish at the World Lacrosse Women’s Championship in Japan.

The result is the best ever for both Israel and the Haudenosaunee, also known as the Iroquois Confederacy. The victory gives Israel its first-ever women’s lacrosse medal.
Canada and the US will play for the gold medal later today.
