World Central Kitchen confirms armed operatives were posing as its members in central Gaza
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleWorld Central Kitchen confirms an earlier IDF announcement that terror operatives in the Gaza Strip had been caught posing as members of the humanitarian organization.
The IDF had said that “five armed terrorists” were spotted near a vehicle marked with the logo of WCK in central Gaza “despite having no affiliation with the organization, while posing a threat to our forces.”
In a statement on X, WCK says it confirmed to COGAT, the defense ministry body responsible for activities in Gaza and the West Bank, that “the vehicle and persons of interest were not affiliated with WCK.”
“We strongly condemn anyone posing as WCK or other humanitarians, as this endangers civilians and aid workers. The safety and security of our teams are our top priority,” it adds.
