Lee Korzits finished her medal quest in failure on Tuesday, ending the key windsurfing medal race in ninth place, and winding up sixth overall. Her disappointing performance — she was joint second going into the race — means Israel will likely end the Olympics without a medal.

The female sailing duo Vered Buskila and Gil Cohen were ranked 12th after their eighth qualifying race. The two placed 12th the seventh race, and 16th in the eighth one. They have two races left, after which the top 10 crews will participate in the medal race.

Wednesday, August 8

Only two Israelis will compete on Wednesday — in the women’s 470 tandem, in the waters around Weymouth.

Remember: Event times are listed as they appear in London — please make the right adjustments (Israelis add 2 hours; US East Coast residents subtract 5).

  • Sailing: Gil Cohen and Vered Buskila end their qualifying stages with races 9 and 10, between 12-5:50pm.
