IDF troops on Sunday night shot at two armed men who attempted to cross the Egyptian border, wounding both.

The Egyptian gunmen approached the border fence in a vehicle and did not respond to warnings issued by the soldiers.

No Israelis were injured in the incident. The two Egyptian men, who sustained light and moderate wounds, were taken to Soroka Hospital in Beersheba for treatment.
