WATCH: Security footage shows Paris diners diving for cover in bar attack

Security footage posted online Thursday from inside one of the Paris restaurants attacked on Friday provides a new look at last week’s shooting rampage in the French capital that killed a total of 129 people and injured over 350.

The video posted on the Daily Mail website shows a nearly empty restaurant erupt into chaos with bullets smashing into walls and diners and staff diving for cover. A gunman is seen briefly when he approaches the restaurant’s terrace and points his rifle at someone lying on the ground. A moment later he leaves, and a woman rises and dashes for safety.

According to the newspaper, the woman survived the assault because the rifle jammed.

The restaurant is not named in Daily Mail’s accompanying article (“for security reasons”) but examination by The Associated Press suggests it is Casa Nostra, a pizzeria near the Bonne Biere, another restaurant hit by the attackers and where five people were killed.

None of the diners or staff inside the restaurant in the footage died in the attack, although some were injured.

According to the Daily Mail, the shooter is Salah Abdeslam, 26, who is currently on the run and is one of the most wanted persons across Europe. An international warrant has been issued for his capture.

His brother, Ibrahim Abdeslam died while detonating his suicide vest in an attack outside the Comptoir Voltaire cafe on Friday, one of the seven locales attacked by the eight-man, Islamic State terror squad.

The most horrific attack occurred at the Bataclan theater during a concert by the US band, the Eagles of Death Metal, where three terrorists killed 89 people before two of them blew themselves up as police closed in. A third was shot and killed by French police.

The Daily Mail says it has a “collection” of CCTV footage from the Paris attacks.
