Woman dies in Lod fire
Two others transferred to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA 35-year-old woman died Wednesday morning in a fire that broke out in a residential building in Lod.
Firefighters evacuated seven other residents, two of whom were transferred to Asaf Harofeh Hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
The first floor apartment in which the fire started was severely damaged.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
On Tuesday, a man died in a fire in Acre.
