70-year-old Beersheba woman found dead in suspected murder
Police detain the woman’s son, who reportedly has a history of psychiatric problems

A 70-year-old woman was found dead in the southern city of Beersheba early Saturday, in a suspected murder.
Police launched an investigation and detained a 40-year-old suspect who Hebrew media reports identified as the woman’s son.
He was detained after reportedly calling police to say he found his mother unconscious in the hallway of her apartment building.
According to the Ynet news site, the suspect has a history of psychiatric problems.
