Air force strikes ‘terrorist tunnels’ in northern Gaza

Rocket fired from Gaza lands in Eshkol region, no injuries reported

Israel Air Force jets fired at “terrorist tunnels” in the northern Gaza Strip, the IDF Spokesman’s Office said late Tuesday night.

The announcement noted that the airstrike came in response to the firing of several rockets at southern Israel from the same area in the northern Gaza Strip earlier on Tuesday.

On Wednesday morning, a rocket fired from the Gaza Strip landed in an open field in the Eshkol region. No one was injured and no damage was reported.
