Five-month-old baby dies after losing consciousness in daycare

A five-month-old baby died Monday night hours after being rushed to hospital after losing consciousness while at a daycare center, the Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba said.
The child, from the southern town of Netivot, was brought to the hospital by medics who attempted to resuscitate her. Doctors continued to try and save the baby, but were ultimately forced to pronounce her dead, the hospital said.
The circumstances of the incident were not immediately clear, but medics who treated her said that they were told she apparently did not wake up after a nap.
