British singer-songwriter Jake Bugg returns to Israel May 9 to play the Shuni Amphitheater in Binyamina.
The wildly popular guitarist was in Israel for the first time last March as part of a special concert hosted by musician Aviv Geffen, a personal fan of Bugg.
In September 2017, Bugg released his latest studio album, the country-tinged “Hearts That Strain” that he recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, followed by an acoustic tour that garnered mixed reviews.
The musician, now 23, emerged at just 17 for his acerbic lyrics and singular acoustic guitar skills that had him hailed as the new Dylan. At the time, his debut album “Jake Bugg” topped the UK charts and went double platinum.
One of his latest efforts this year was a new song, “Waiting,” with lyrics sung by Noah Cyrus, Miley Cyrus’ younger sister.
Tickets for Jake Bugg will be available at the Zappa website.
