Jordan Feldstein, the longtime manager to Maroon 5 and brother of actors Jonah Hill and Beanie Feldstein, died Friday night at age 40 from a heart attack, according to his family. He is survived by his two children.

Feldstein founded management company Career Artist Management, which, in addition to managing Maroon 5, worked with musicians Miguel, Elle King and Robin Thicke.

Feldstein also negotiated Adam Levine’s coaching role on NBC’s “The Voice.” He and Levine, the Jewish frontman of Maroon 5, were childhood best friends.

Feldstein was married twice, including a marriage to actress Francesca Eastwood, daughter of actor and director Clint Eastwood, that was annulled a week later in 2013.

“Unfortunately, last night [December 22] Jordan called 911 for shortness of breath, when paramedics arrived it was determined he went into full cardiac arrest and passed away shortly thereafter,” a representative told Variety in a statement.

“His family asks for privacy during this difficult and unexpected time. In lieu of food and flowers, the family will announce a charity in the coming weeks where memorial donations can be made in Jordan’s name,” the rep said.
